Elizabeth Taylor February 27 1932 – March 23 2011

Today the world has lost one of Hollywood’s greatest. The actress, that is known for her role as Cleopatra in 1962, died from heart failure this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in L.A. surrounded by her children. She was 79.

Elton John said: “We have just lost a Hollywood giant. More importantly, we have lost an incredible human being.”

George Michael: “Such a sad day, Elizabeth Taylor was the last of the Hollywood greats, and a fantastically charming woman.”

Kylie Minogue: “RIP Dame Elizabeth Taylor… Like a pure white diamond you’ll shine on and on and on.”
